JobFit4U processes information only to provide the service you request. Depending on the service, this may include job adverts, job-specification or campaign documents, CVs, certificates, your name, email address and operational/payment references.
What we use your information for

Evidence controls
JobFit4U is designed to use the evidence supplied by the customer. It must not invent candidate qualifications, employment history, experience, achievements or other personal facts.
Temporary customer content
Uploaded and generated working files are intended to be temporary and are deleted as soon as practical after fulfilment or failure, subject to the technical operation of the service. Necessary operational and payment records may be retained for legitimate administrative, security, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes.
Third-party services
JobFit4U uses Tally for form intake, AWS (including S3 and SES) for application processing, storage and email delivery, Stripe for payments, and OpenAI for AI-assisted vacancy interpretation and application drafting. JobFit4U sends relevant job and CV text to the AI provider to generate documents. Provider processing, subprocessors, transfer arrangements and retention must be assessed separately; the 30-minute website download window does not delete email attachments or provider-held records.
No tracking of email opens
JobFit4U does not intentionally use email-open tracking or similar customer-behaviour monitoring in its document-delivery emails.
Do not upload unnecessary sensitive information
Customers should remove PPS numbers, bank details, passwords and unrelated sensitive personal information before uploading documents.
Lawful bases and necessary use
We process vacancy details and CV information to take steps at your request and provide the requested application service (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)); operational security and fraud prevention where justified by legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)); and accounting/payment records where legally required (Article 6(1)(c)). Providing a CV is optional for the Free Job Check and required only for the paid package. Please do not include special-category data unless essential and separately agreed.
Retention and deletion
For paid documents, the website download window is 30 minutes after verified payment. Automatic housekeeping is designed to delete temporary private S3 files after expiry; this is subject to scheduled processing and should not be presented as immediate guaranteed erasure. We may need to retain transaction records and essential dispute/security evidence for applicable legal periods; exact schedules and retention at Tally, OpenAI, Stripe and email providers must be confirmed in the processor register. Customer email copies remain under customer control.
Saved public job links in your browser
If you check a readable public vacancy link, JobFit4U can remember that URL in your browser for up to 30 days so you can compare it with other jobs. Up to 20 public vacancy links are retained on your device. This browser list contains links, not your CV, contact details or questionnaire answers. You can use the “Clear saved links” control on the comparison page, or clear your browser storage. Job comparison results remain available on the server temporarily (normally up to one hour) and can be downloaded as PDF.

Up to 20 public vacancy links remain on your device, not your CV or contact information. Use “Clear saved links” in the comparison panel to remove them. Completed comparison results remain available temporarily on the server for up to one hour; download the PDF if you need to keep it.
Your rights and complaint
Depending on the legal basis and circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection to processing. Contact reports@jobfit4u.com. You may complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie). Some disclosures or deletions may be limited where legally required records must be retained.
International transfers and automated assistance
Processing may involve service-provider transfers outside Ireland/the EEA. Before claiming a transfer mechanism, JobFit4U must verify the contractual safeguards and countries for each provider. AI helps organise and draft application materials; it does not make employment decisions, assess recruitment outcomes or apply to jobs on your behalf.
